On 5 April 2012, Sheraton Surabaya Hotel & Towers gotECO Hotel Certificationby PT. TUVRheinland Indonesia in recognition of our commitment to establish and implementstandards in order to create sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Eight elements of the criteria forapplication of environmental care is: the goal of the organization, purchasing, management of hazardous substances, water management, waste management, office supplies, external facilities and integration and safety of energy managementin the surrounding. Implementation of this element is the system that manages according to the standardization, compliance legalary quatment, andsystematically not only a source of pride, so do not rely solely on engineering.

There are two things that underlie the SheratonSurabaya Hotel ECOprogram to follow. The first is the request from the customer andcorporate on environmental improvements, the second isthe policy of environmentalsustainability Starwood across the Starwood property. Charity Night One Heart: Untukmu Indonesiaku presented by Pakuwon Golf& Family Clubmanaged by SheratonSurabaya Hotels & Towerscollaboration with the Project Art Plus successfully held at Imperial Ballroom Pakuwon 1 Pakuwon Golf and Family Center, 20 April 2012. This event displaying the traditional nuance of Indonesia.

One Heart: Untukmu Indonesiaku begin with dinner of fully variety from culinary Indonesia. The guest also accompany with traditional musical “Campur Sari”, which further adds to the beauty of the night.

After taste the typical food of Indonesia, it's time for the peak of One Heart: Untukmu Indonesiaku, the colossal dance performances involving over 100 dancers, and featuring a variety of traditional dances in the mix with a modern and contemporary dance.

All the guests couldn’t stop amazed by the beauty of the lighting and lively and beautiful of stage. The series of fundraising begins with winner announcement of Photo Competition: Against Human Trafficking.

All donations collectedin One Heart in the amount of Rp. 63.05 million, will be used to help finance of “Breast CancerAwareness” program conducted by Reach To Recovery Surabaya (RRS). Moreover, it also helps human trafficking awareness program endorsed by Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia (KPI).
